BODRUM’DA İNSANCA YAŞAM DERNEĞİ
Since our establishment in 2015, we have been serving the people of Bodrum by meeting basic needs and providing social support for the underserved.
Guided by our core mission and principles, Bodrum Humanity projects are designed to improve the lives of those we serve with compassion and caring through the provision of basic necessities and support for human development as a whole.

We are continuously improving and development our organizational capacity to be more impactful and effective in the community that we serve.
WOMEN’S EMPOWERMENT
To support socio-economically disadvantaged women, we organize training workshops and training to develop home based handicraft skills for supplemental income.
ART WITH CHILDREN
In order to provide educational enrichment opportunities for children of families who cannot afford them, we provide art workshops for children in socio-economically underserved neighborhoods, focusing on exploration of their surroundings and reverence for the environment.
AFFIRMATIVE ACTION FOR THE EMPOWERMENT OF GIRLS
In all our activities, we take affirmative action for our girls who are often underserved in our community society, taking extra effort to ensure their participation and access in the services we provide and the projects that we offer.
SUPPORT
We provide quick organizational response in extraordinary situations such as earthquakes and fires, directing and coordinating aid in cooperation with sister organizations and first responders through our established network of like organizations.
DIRECT SUPPORT
In Difficult Times
In order to reach people living in Bodrum who are in need, we work in communication with local neighborhood offices and school family unions.
MARKET GIFT CARDS
We distribute supermarket gift cards at regularly to those who find themselves in emergency need.
SECONDHAND GOODS
Thanks to our volunteers and donors, we are a community hub of collection for secondhand and gently used household goods and clothing, which are distributed to those in need.
DRY FOOD PACKAGES
On special occasions, ie. Ramazan and Bayram, we prepare and distribute dry food packages to families in need.
SHOE AID
In partnership with H3A (link), we recently distributed vouchers for the purchase of shoes and coats for needy children during the recent harsh winter, a successful project that we plan to repeat next winter.
